Shirtum Signs A Partnership Agreement With The Globe Soccer Awards

We have signed a partnership agreement with Globe Soccer Awards, the internationally renowned football event where top players, clubs and coaches are rewarded for their performances.
The event takes place in Dubai on 27th December 2021. On this day, the eyes of the entire football world will be drawn to the Emirates, as the Dubai Sports Council hosts the 12th Edition of the event to recognize the best footballers and teams of the year, including categories such as Best Player, Club or Coach.
This edition’s finalists for “Best Player” include Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Robert Lewandowski, Alex Morgan and Alexia Putellas, just to name a few.

Besides the massive exposure we will receive, what role will Shirtum play during this event? Well, much more than just a sponsorship. The agreement entails Shirtum becoming the official partner of the GSA by leveraging our NFTs to enrich and extend the fan experience of the event.
As part of this agreement, Shirtum is launching the official Globe Soccer Awards NFT, which will consist of digital art inspired by the award and the city of Dubai, and made exclusively for the GSA event. It is a sort of lottery system where instead of just receiving a ticket, you receive a collectible NFT. Participants can purchase an unlimited number of entries (NFTs) and the more you collect, the more chances you’ll have to redeem the rewards!
The NFTs will be available to purchase on our platform app.shirtum.com from Sunday 26th December 2021 at 12 PM UTC until Tuesday 28th December 2021 at 10 PM UTC at the price of 80 $SHI per NFT (approx. USD 10). The NFT can be purchased with our native $SHI token or with a debit/credit card.
Those who buy the NFT receive extra voting privileges for the 13th Edition Globe Soccer Awards (2022) and will have the chance to win experiences that money can’t buy.
The rewards at stake include players’ signed shirts, participating in a meet & greet with one of the award winners, VIP tickets with flights and accommodation in Dubai for the 2022 Edition, regular tickets for next year’s event, and more to be announced!
